We provide quality home based therapy throughout NYC. Infants and young toddlers with all types of delays and disabilities receive services tailored to meet their needs. Experienced therapists work together with your service coordinators to deliver high quality, goal driven intervention for the child and his/her family. Parents are encouraged to participate in individual therapy sessions and to incorporate goals throughout their daily activities. Early Intervention Strivright’s Early Intervention Program offers a variety of services to eligible infants and toddlers birth to age 3. We offer services at home and at our center. The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a public program for children under the age of three, who are either suspected of having or are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. Potentially eligible children must be referred to the county program (NYC dial 311) to receive EIP services. EIP is funded by New York State and county governments. All EIP services are provided at no cost to parents. Health insurance may be used for approved services. A child’s eligibility for the program can be determined only by state-approved evaluators under contract, and all services must be authorized by the county. Strivright is approved as a provider of EIP services and under contract with NYS to deliver EIP services If a child is found eligible for the EIP, all needed EI services are identified in collaboration with the parent and must be authorized by the municipality. The municipality will arrange for service providers, considering the individual needs of the child and family, to deliver services authorized by the municipality. When early intervention services are delivered in child care settings or community locations that require a fee, the parent is responsible for paying any associated costs with such access to child care or community locations.
